About RUX

RUX has been playing guitar for almost 10 years and she is playing both electric and acoustic guitar. She calls Toronto home where she lives with her family, three Golden Retrievers, two cats and two snakes.

RUX studies guitar with David Martin, Danny J . Ricardo  and Doug Doppler  The 3 Ds! They are each fantastic teachers with their individual styles, and she learns different things from each of them.

RUX also loves performing live. For a brief period she was a member of the teen band Life of Exile.

She also had the opportunity to jam with Steve Vai, Nuno Bettencourt, Phil X, Stig Mathisen and Larry Mitchell. They each left a mark on her development as a guitar player, artist and song writer. But the artist that influenced RUX the most and will always remain her idol, is Eddie Van Halen.
